Every spring, many travelers come to Nyingchi just to enjoy "ocean of peach blossoms" surrounded by snow-capped mountains under the blue sky.

Nyingchi Prefecture, located in the southeast of Tibet Autonomous Region, is also referred to as the "Switzerland of the East" due to its picturesque snow scenery in winter, and as "Jiangnan of Tibet" in spring because of its lush greenery.

In March, Nyingchi has gradually turned into a land with trees and flowers growing in abundance, and spring comes earlier than anywhere else in Tibet.

The Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival has become one of the most important tourist events for the area since 2002.
