  1. Eddie Somers: Shes pretty!
  2. Jennifer Drake: I absolutely love this video of coarse lowes would come up with something like this... I love the fact that we are getting a history lesson also. I think it can help us understand more about what we are repairing
  3. OrangeJackson: She did a very good job.
  4. Anna Gray: I used to live in a house with zero insulation (rental). Electric bill used to be $400-500 a month. So, if you are thinking whether insulation saves you money - yep, it does :) My only question is - doesn't that fiber insulation attract pests?.. Silverfish, for example, eats all kinds of fiber.
  5. Kayinfso Here: Outstanding video explaining all...much of which I installed last year. Thank you!!!!
  6. Tia Williams: TintedRhythm You said that like you think tropical climates don’t need insulation.
  7. Wredniara: I don't know about other countries in Europe, but in Poland we usually use styrofoam on our houses (made not from wood but from bricks, concrete, hollow bricks etc.). Fiberglass goes "on" the roofs or between rooms and floors to damp the noises :)
  8. Leigh Taylor Ellis: This was great! What about sound-proofing or sound dampening individual rooms or a whole house?
  9. Zyler Osteen: Eight comment yayyy
  10. pomarem: This girl is fun
  11. woodsprout: Can I just replace the old rotten acorns with new ones?
  12. 3lightsteps: If you have AC you do need it1
  13. WhatIsMisophonia: One issue: Like so many other videos, you're assuming everyone lives where you live. The vapor barrier goes on whichever side has the most humidity. In climates with cool summers up north, you want the barrier on the inside. At the equator, you actually want the barrier on the outside of the house, and in the central US where we have cold winters and hot summers, you want a vapor barrier both on the outside and on the inside.
  14. davekintz: ...and NEVER take a hot shower after installing insulation. Rinse off with cold, first.
  15. Exayevie: Lowes, I like you.
  16. Ngo Minh Tuan: I had good time watching. Thanks a lot.
  17. Kim Mobey: starts at 2:43
  18. Benjamin Joseph: I don't know if you've fixed your attic, but search for 'This Old House attic insulation'. They have a good video for older homes, like mine.
  19. Doug: Title was misleading and almost didn't click because of it. But very informative and glad I did. Thanks Lowe's
  20. General Steven D. Lee 5683: She's cute and informative.
  21. Rob Creek: i cant believe i just watched a 12 minute video about insulation, this was awesome
  22. David L.: Great video, you make it easy to understand the concepts, the why and how, and that's not easy.
  23. TheXxneowolfxX: Older homes most companies will open a hole near the top plate and blow in insulation between stud voids. In attics you can go and get batts of insulation and add on top of your current; just be sure that the blown in is uniform first.
  24. Lowe's Home Improvement: As long as it isn't being compressed, more insulation just means less heat transfer! No negatives.
  25. Leon PRG: When using spray foam, how do you let the moist out?
  26. Zessa: roof and ceiling
  27. Kiko L.: Hello
  28. Wendelin Schlegel: Great info! But... there's a bit that'snot quite fitting: gloves don't shield the fibres. You need something as fine as iron oxides to shield your skin.
  29. Lucas Cross Jr: Wow. Awesome vid
  30. ri mar: Lowes has great videos. Good job!
  31. Natalie Parkinson: 4 th
  32. Mark Brown: Snuggy
  33. Samantha Weber: Plumbing
  34. TintedRhythm: It's fun watching this while you're living at a tropical country lol
  35. Stop Spying: *I hope that you know way too much about insulation* That seals the deal where it counts
  36. Eileen Swalling: How about covering how to improve insulation in an older home--how do I add insulation to walls? If I have blown in insulation in my attic can I add something different on top or remove it. I hate the blown in.
  37. k sarna: Leon PRG 99000o0
  38. Andrew Lind: i read it as insult with acorns...
  39. Matt.Cook.Oregon: Well now I know! GOod stuff
  40. Stephanie Friess: Thanks for this!
  41. Gabriel Wong: Lumber and screws
  42. Daniel McKenzie: If I over do the R value on my insulation is it just deminishing returns or are there negative effects?
  43. saanvi banerjee: #3Rd comment
  44. Tia Williams: You actually don’t really need vapor barriers in warmer climates. You should also avoid vapor barriers on both sides of the insulation because moisture could get trapped in the walls and form mold.
  45. Daniel T: Lowe’s, I may not shop at the store often, but I enjoy watching your YouTube channel. Your videos are on point and interesting
  46. Maxima: Great vid. Want to do dinner?
